Fires have been raging in southwestern Utah lately, making the area here in Grand Junction a bit hazy. That hazy fog, though, made Adam & Brittany’s Sunset Engagement on the Colorado National Monument something special! As the sun sat on the horizon, turning the bookcliffs my favorite purple, the valley was clouded in an equally vibrant fog, and it was stunning! I felt so lucky to be able to capture their love and engagement on such a beautiful evening.

When I first met up with Brittany and Adam for coffee (caffeine equals life in Brittany’s world!) it quickly became clear to me how much fun their session would be. Full of life and energy (or maybe that was the coffee… ha!) they held hands and just melded together even sitting at a table just chatting. They were such good spirits throughout the session, even when I made them do some goofy things! And bless their hearts for not laughing at me as I laid on the ground for a few shots! I could really see their connection in their love and laughter shared that evening. I truly cannot wait for their wedding! Take a peek at some of my favorite moments from their Sunset Engagement on the Colorado National Monument:
