When I first met up with Valeria for coffee, she admitted to being worried and intimidated because she had never had professional photos done before. Girl, have I been there! One of my biggest goals with sessions is making the entire process from start to finish really easy and to take away any intimidation, because I totally get it.
I guided her through outfit suggestions to help her look her best, and hair/makeup artist recommendations upon request, and we met up on the Mesa for the maternity shoot. Even though we had to reapply bug spray about 27 times (the mosquitoes really are HORRIBLE this year!!) it was such a beautiful evening! Probably the most rewarding part of her session was her reaction afterward. Any time I get a text after the fact thanking me for making everything easy, is just the best feeling in the world.
“You’ve taken away all my fears from getting professional photos done. My daughter will actually have photos of her mom, and not just photos that I’ve taken of others. Truly thank you for this!”
That right there is why I do what I do! You deserve to have photos of yourself to pass on, and feel great about.
