Stephen and Shelby approached me about taking some redo wedding photos for them after their wedding day had inclement weather that affected their photos. While I didn’t shoot their wedding, I was stoked at the prospect of doing wedding photos for a couple after the fact! I’ve had a few post-wedding sessions this year and they are always such a blast since there’s no timeline pressure and rescheduling for weather is usually an option. There’s just so much creative freedom and a more relaxed environment when you have less to worry about than a wedding day. Their Colterris Winery wedding photos session was no exception!

We explored the orchards, which were still beautiful even without their leaves, and of course spent most of the time at the overlook. Palisade and Mt. Garfield in the distance as the wintry sun set gave their photos the most incredible golden backdrop. They had fantastic fashion choices as well, and Shelby brought a fun hat to play with as we were wrapping up the session. I am such a sucker for a good hat! Anyway, I feel like words won’t do them justice, so take a look at my favorites from their Colterris Winery wedding photos:
