This time of year is one of my favorites for a number of reasons. The ever-warming weather and later evenings. The increase in engagement sessions as we approach wedding season. Blossoms and grilling. And of course, graduation season. It is such a joy to be involved in so many Colorado Mesa University graduation photos every spring. When I was in college, graduation portraits were mainly thought of in high school, and I’m so jealous of today’s seniors! There are so many fun ways to incorporate your degree in portraits, and bachelor degrees take so many years of hard work, why wouldn’t you commemorate that with professional photos?!
Sonny is a Colorado Mesa University Nursing Graduate, which of course I was excited for because helloooo built in props! From senior specialties to clinicals to the excitement of finally graduating out of her whites, Sonny and I chatted while we found some awesome nooks and crannies for photos. It was so cool to explore the campus with her and hear about her journey to graduation, and all that is involved even beyond receiving the degree on paper.
Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished, Sonny! Take a peek at some of my favorite captures from her Colorado Mesa University nursing graduate photos:
