Sadie and Jason introduced me to a new location for their engagement session in Silt, and it was definitely a beautiful one! With trees turning green as Spring reaches up the valley, surrounded by the Colorado River, and the hills along the horizon… it was a winner.

While we were exploring the park I noticed Sadie’s ring (I am a bit biased toward gemstones!) Hers is a stunning tanzanite that looks blue or purple depending on the lighting. Sadie’s a geology major and loved that stone, so it is clearly a perfect fit!

We ended their engagement session with their horses, a sentimental aspect to their session. Sadie’s step dad gave her the horse the summer before he passed away. Jason’s grandpa passed away last summer and he inherited his saddles. The horses mean so much to them their actually bringing them to the wedding too! I cannot wait to capture the big day this summer! Take a peek at some of my favorites from their engagement session in Silt:
