Lindy and Matt knew what they didn’t want for their wedding before they knew what they did want. Luckily a mutual connection led them to me, and immediately they knew they were in the right place. But we’ll continue that story this fall — for now, though, we wanted more time to hang out together so we did their engagement photos in Grand Junction this spring and had a wonderful time exploring the Colorado National Monument during the most incredible sunset I think I’ve ever seen up there! Matt played a little guitar, the two popped some celebratory champagne, and we all braved the heights as the sun turned the red rocks a flaming orange as it set below the horizon.
