Laura and Steffen gave me an awesome experience for their engagement photos in New Castle. We met to caravan up to the trailhead of a hike we’d take down to this bubbling creek, but what the pictures she sent me didn’t do justice was the stunning rock walls that ran beside the trail and the creek bed! I often find myself wishing I knew more about geology out on shoots like this, because I get to see some pretty cool rocks that I wish I knew more about haha. Laura was such a trooper changing into and walking around the rocky creek bed in heels! My ankles could never.
After exploring the area we packed up our snacks and they changed back into outfits more suited to hiking, and we made our way back to the car to head to the next stop. Laura’s parents have some property near the trailhead that we’ll actually celebrate their marriage on this fall! It was so good to get to see the space before the wedding day, and the property has some really great photo ops. L&S even decided to bear the cold of the creek for a few photos!
