My Basic Wedding Collection includes a complimentary engagement session for many reasons. I think they are an essential part of the wedding planning process, and the wedding photography process, which is my overall reason to include them as a complimentary gift to my new couples. Engagement sessions are a great opportunity to celebrate this unique phase of life!
Importance of an Engagement Session:
It’s great to practice! For me, I want your wedding process to be as easy-flowing and comfortable as possible, and so having some time to work on being in front of the camera together, 
as well as allowing me to get a feel for your tastes and your natural interactions before the big day is essential to the process.
You learn to trust me. Trust is so essential to my relationships with my clients and when my clients see that I understand them and their desires, and that I know how to make them look fantastic in their photos, the worries disappear. Your wedding day will be busy and overwhelming at times; it’s my goal with an engagement session to make sure you don’t spend your wedding worrying about how I’m doing. With your e-session you’ll learn how well we work together and have no stress about the photos on your big day!
It’s just plain fun. Engagement photos are a great excuse to put aside the stressful, headache-inducing parts of planning a wedding and to just enjoy one another’s company and have some time alone together. And you get to use the photos for save-the-date cards, guest books and other wedding items to make your special day even better!
