I had the wonderful chance to attend and document Edesia at Wine Country Inn again this year! This amazing event is so much fun, PLUS it benefits a great cause: MarillacHealth here in Grand Junction. Marillac offers medical services (doctor’s check-ups, dental services and more) on a sliding scale basis for those who can’t afford insurance, are underinsured, etc. As someone with a chronic incurable illness, this kind of service to our community is HUGE to me!
Edesia is also a wine-based event, which if you follow me on social media, you know I love! Wineries and food vendors from around Palisade and the Grand Valley set up booths, this year with a Mardi Gras theme, giving tastes of their food and wine offerings. I found one of my new favorite local rosès this year! Colorado Q, Be Sweet Bakeshop, Palisade Cafe 11.0, and more offered some delicious apps and goodies too. It was fun to run into so many of our local WED West Slope wedding vendors there too!
