Crested Butte is one of my favorite places in Colorado. The beautiful mountain passes just outside of town, the adorable shops and restaurants down Elk Ave., the amazing hiking and mountain biking, and of course the best skiing in the winter make Crested Butte a perfect place to host your wedding weekend. Mountain vistas, beautiful aspens, and wildflowers galore will be a stunning backdrop that I live for as a Crested Butte wedding photographer!

Mountain Wedding Garden – This garden located at Town Hall and city park on the mountain is a quintessential Crested Butte wedding venue. Known for its low rates and beautiful views it is perfect for your smaller, laid-back celebration!
Gothic/Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory – Accessible for summer weddings, this little town is a working and renowned biological laboratory just outside Crested Butte that occasionally hosts weddings in the fall! With 360 degree views and close vicinity to Schofield pass, Emerald Lake and more, this makes a beautiful setting for a more rustic, adventurous couple.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort – The Mountain Resort is easily one of the most popular group of wedding venues in Crested Butte. Home to Uley’s Cabin, Butte 66 Roadhouse Bar & Grille, The Lodge at Mountaineer Square Ballroom, and Ten Peaks there are several diverse options within the resort! Whether you want the rustic feel with wildflower and mountain views of Uley’s Cabin and Ten Peaks’ Umbrella Bar, or the upscale fairytale Ballroom wedding to perfectly match your ballgown, they’ve got the venue for you.
Ten Peaks Umbrella Bar – I wanted to especially highlight the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks because it is easily one of my favorites! With stunning views at every angle, sitting just under the shadow of the Butte, and fields of wildflowers all around it offers so much variety and beauty for your wedding.
Woods Walk – This venue is protected by the Crested Butte Land Trust, surrounded by aspen trees, mountain wildflowers, towering peaks, creeks and rivers, and reflecting lakes. This one is perfect for nature lovers who care most about being surrounded by the majesty of all the things that make Colorado truly great!

I strive to capture the day as it unfolds, every candid moment to perfectly preserve your story. I’m a fly on the wall and many guests say they never noticed me! However I’m not afraid to step up and make family formals fly by (people need to know where to stand and what to do with their hands!) I’m a happy medium between posed and candid.

The day is here and you're surprised you're nervous after all this time. I will capture your day in a way that tells the story for you to relive forever. You'll have sneak peaks within 24-48 hours and a full gallery of the whole day within a month or so.
