Morgan & Nick | Fall Engagement Photos at Maroon Bells

by amandamatildaphotography | Sep 21, 2020 | Couples, Engagement Photos

When Morgan inquired with me about fall engagement photos at Maroon Bells I was so stoked! I’ve been to the bells in the summer plenty, but it would be my first trip with some fall colors peaking. We met outside the T-Lazy-7 Ranch up the road to caravan into the...

Laura & Joe | Engagement Photos on the Colorado National Monument

by amandamatildaphotography | Aug 10, 2020 | Couples, Engagement Photos

Laura and Joe chose to do their engagement photos on the Colorado National Monument, since it is one of the more notable vistas of the Grand Junction area. It also happens to be one of my favorite spots to shoot! Their session was made particularly memorable by the...

Caitlin & Drew | Spring Grand Junction Engagement Photos

by amandamatildaphotography | May 20, 2020 | Couples, Engagement Photos

Caitlin and Drew’s engagement photos have been long-awaited. We originally planned to capture them in the amazing spring blossoms in Palisade, but between the pandemic and crazy freeze the valley experienced, that plan was just not in the cards. They were so...

Marion & Nathan | Winter Engagement Photos at Rifle Falls State Park

by amandamatildaphotography | Feb 5, 2020 | Couples

When Nathan mentioned in our correspondence that he loved how much of a smart ass Marion is, I knew we’d all get along just fine – ha! Their vision for their winter engagement photos at Rifle Falls State Park involved hopes for ice caves and beautiful icy...

Tina & Tyler | Snowy Engagement Photos on the Mesa

by amandamatildaphotography | Jan 15, 2020 | Couples, Engagement Photos

As I got on the interstate to drive up to the Grand Mesa I was greeted by a sign reading, “Expect severe conditions at high elevations.” Looking up toward the mesa, I could not see the top as it was covered in clouds. At that moment, I knew we were in for...

Jesse & Tabitha | Family and Couples Photos in Palisade

by amandamatildaphotography | Oct 25, 2019 | Couples, Family

A couple years ago I had an awesome adventure with Jesse and Tabitha for their regular family photos with them and their pups. We explored back roads on the Mesa after their first snow of the season – golden leaves and white snow make a beautiful combination!...

Testimonials

“Creative, talented, and works well with her clients…”

Is there a 6 star rating? If there was, I would chose it. Amanda is creative, talented, works well with her clients, is responsive and a true artist. She went above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend Amanda to everyone and anyone who is looking for a true professional. She made a special moment truly magical. I am incredibly grateful. -Julie  //  Elopement  |  See their elopement…

“Amanda was one of the best parts about our wedding…”

My husband said the day after our wedding, “Amanda was one of the best parts about our wedding,” and he was absolutely right. Our photographer, Amanda, was excellent. She was there early to photograph our hours of getting ready, and was upbeat and so positive throughout the entire day. She was relaxed and made us feel at ease during photos. She was lovely to work with throughout the entire process, organized, and quick to respond. -Ali /… Read more
We had to cancel our wedding due to COVID and decided to elope last-minute. Amanda was incredible! She responded within minutes and we were able to “meet” her virtually to discuss our vision. Amanda is friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable instantly. She collaborated with us to create the perfect vision for our elopement day. When we got the photos, my husband said, “She made us look like models!” She really did. We were able to buy printed photos from Amanda’s website for great p… Read more

“Attention to detail…”

Attention to detail is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Amanda. She did an amazing job of incorporating our personal tastes into each session, and worked with us to ensure 100% satisfaction. I am so glad to have had the chance to work with her, and have no hesitations to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to document the most important moments of their lives! -Stacey  //  Wedding | See their big day…

Amanda, I still can’t brag about you enough for your amazing photos at my wedding and your caring personality! You were thoughtful, insightful, and brought comfort to your photography! “Amazingly professional yet so friendly and personable…”

Amanda is amazingly professional yet so friendly and personable. We receive comments every day on how amazing of a job she did! I couldn’t be more pleased with her work and how comfortable we both felt having her take our pictures. I wouldn’t and won’t go anywhere else for pictures!! Katie // Wedding | See their big day…

“Truly you have a great eye…”

I wanted to compliment you. I’ve been in the media business for a long time and around photographers and I want to tell you how wonderful your photos are. Of course I am biased- but truly you have a great eye. The composition is wonderful. And I saw the lighting and the cluttered atmosphere at the Opera House and was amazed at what you pulled off. Congratulations. -Susan // Groom’s Aunt  | See their wedding…
“Amanda was amazing! We were so excited to receive the link to her gallery app less than 24 hours after our wedding. This made it so easy to show off our pictures to friends and family. Her work is beautiful and I would definitely hire her again!” -Ali  //  Wedding   |   See their wedding…

“Previews up online super quick so we didn’t have to wait long to see how great they turned out…”

Amanda was great! We had a big party for our elopement that included a tired 4 year old and she was positive and chill the whole time. She got previews up online super quick so we didn’t have to wait long to see how great they turned out! We would definitely recommend. -Amber  //  Elopement

“Everything and more than we could ask for…”

Amanda was everything and more than we could ask for! She was willing to go above and beyond, and she had a great spirit throughout the whole day even with the unexpected weather turning for the worse. I would recommended to her any bride that is looking for a responsible, accountable, and fun photographer on her special day 🙂 Kristine – Wedding  //  See their wedding…

Almost no one is comfortable in front of the camer Almost no one is comfortable in front of the camera right from the get-go. I’ve had literal MODELS tell me they always feel awkward! You. Are. Not. Alone. Having an engagement session is our time to “practice” before the big day so there’s no stress around photographs on your actual wedding! You’ll already know exactly what to expect because you’ve done this before. Plus then on the wedding our photo time goes faster! I can say, “Hey remember such-and-such we did at your engagement photos?” and we’re all instantly on the same page.
