Capturing the Story & Scenery of Your Best Day Ever
Hi! I’m Amanda Matilda, a Grand Junction wedding photographer. I preserve precious moments in beautiful images for nostalgic, adventurous couples so you can relive those best moments of life that fly by too fast.
Whether you’re planning your dream wedding at one of the amazing local venues here on the western slope, or you want your adventurous elopement celebration documented, you’re in the right place!
Hiring a photographer with a story telling heart like mine is so important to document every moment of your wedding day – especially the ones you don’t get to witness.
“There are moments that I know I will long for, even as I live them.”
Full wedding collections include at least eight hours of coverage, a wedding album and much more to help you relive your big day through tangible memories.
Elopements and intimate wedding coverage includes at least two hours and is perfect for adventurous souls.
Get the party started with an engagement session! These sessions are a fun celebration of your new fiance status, and a great chance to practice before the big day.
I specialize in drinking chai tea lattes, and watching Gilmore Girls reruns! I also specialize in creating genuine, vibrant, and unique photographs for modern and adventurous couples.
My mission is to beautifully capture the story and scenery of your celebration and to provide genuine, authentic artwork for my clients. As a full service wedding photographer in Grand Junction, I aim to provide the most memorable, simplified and fun experience, and give my couples tangible high-end artwork from these experiences to pass on to future generations of family.

What I do
It’s important to make sure you like my work before you get started on booking your session! Get lost in some of my work and see my vibrant, timeless style.
Couples who work with me swear they’re awkward in front of the camera, but walk away saying they ended up feeling relaxed and comfortable during their session. Even guys say it was more fun than they thought!
Amanda is the perfect wedding photographer. She’s efficient, she gets absolutely all the shots you want and those you didn’t even know you want, and she just blended into our event perfectly. The photos perfectly captured the whole day and I feel like I can easily relive it just by looking back at the photos. I highly recommend Amanda.
We used Amanda for our wedding and she is the BEST! Our photos turned out amazing and she captured the feel of our night perfectly. She’s also such a cool person and really fun to hang with 🙂 We didn’t want her to leave at the end of the night!
If you want perfect wedding photos, as well as to work with a genuinely kind and caring person-look no further!

Celeste and Blair opted for Rifle Falls engagement photos this fall and the colors and waterfalls were an absolutely perfect backdrop for the occasion! I loved exploring the park with them to find the best nooks and crannies for fall colors, and of course my favorite...
Erin and Bryton's Ouray ghost town elopement was the best combination of all of my favorite parts of elopements. We got to explore a ghost town, which right off the bat is one of the best things. Pair that with some secluded private vows, tromping through the snow,...
Trisha and Gilbert's fall wedding at Wine Country Inn was much anticipated. Originally scheduled for last spring, I'm sure you all know why it was postponed. However among those worldwide surprises, these two were also excited to find themselves expecting a new member...
